When using a Squarespace website, the options to filter blogs, galleries and summary blocks are limited. However working with a number of clients, DCODE has been able to implement dynamic filtering of blocks on Squarespace sites - with and without the developer mode enabled.

When displaying blocks of content, it is great to enable a filter to display relevant items as required.  While Squarespace has some tools available to do this, they are often limited in what they can do and the functions they provide.  As such, we have implemented our own filtering processes to allow Squarespace content to be dynamically filtered.

Here is an example of filtering we recently deployed on the website of a photographer, Gazi Photo:

Filtering Content on Squarespace

In the example above, we applied the filtering to an Index collection.  However the same effect can be used on an Index, Blog, Gallery, Summary or any other collection used on Squarespace.

Squarespace is often used to present portfolios, images, blogs and products - filtering these can add a great deal of value to the website's users.  If you're looking to add a filter to your Squarespace site, contact us to find out how we can be of assistance.
